About me.

I am an expert in product design & development with a Master's degree from Northwestern University and over 15 years of experience bringing products in multiple industries to market.

I have developed a wide variety of products over the years including medical products, cosmetics, skincare, accessories, toys, and even buildings (I started my career as an architect). 

I am also a military spouse. My family uproots to move every so many years. Adaptability is the name of the game here. When you move as often as we do, you learn to make friends quickly and be resourceful. These skills come in handy when you're creating world-class products. 

My path to the beauty industry may not have been conventional, but all of my experience has shaped my success and has led me to where I am now. I have cultivated the relationships, designed the foundations, and closed the gaps in the process. This is all available to you to leverage when we work together.

I have never had this much fun working in an industry. 

When I entered the beauty industry I fell in love with it right away. The people are amazing and the process includes all of my favorite things: imagination, design, testing, manufacturing, and launching. It all lights me up.  

I had a blast growing a company from its startup beginnings into a multi-six-figure business. I love to see things go from a seedling of an idea to a fully-fledged product. That's why I've focused my business on helping early-stage entrepreneurs build and launch their beauty brands.

Mistakes = time + money lost. I learned that firsthand when I entered the beauty industry and was still getting my footing. 

When I joined a beauty startup as the first and only product hire, I had to assess every product and redo a lot of things that weren't done correctly the first time around. Things like mislabeled packaging and product inconsistencies that could have been avoided by implementing some simple processes to improve internal quality control, and also improve communication with our manufacturers.

So, that is exactly what I set out to do. 

As I got to know my way in the industry, I was able to simplify my process, build scalable systems, and pinpoint what makes or breaks a successful beauty brand.
